Halloween 2023 v1-2 SFW (Shadybug/Toxicbug - Shady Marinette Dupain-Cheng) (Patreon)

Hello, kittens! It's a pleasure to wish you the brightest, cutest, and spookiest holiday of the year! For me, Halloween is kind of like the starting point of my Patreon's page birthday (although it's not, his birthday is in June), but that's how it worked out in my head :) 

We spent another year together! We survived! Yay!!! 🎃

Shadybug! I fell in love with this character even before the special episode with her came out. In fact, I started working on this piece before the episode even came out. I had this image of a gloomy punk girl in my head, and not much has changed since then. She's cold, cynical, hot and just a super cool bitch :) The boss of this show 😎

Yeah Shady, best thing to happen to an animated series in years  😍

This drawing has a funny story. I spent a long time puzzling over the pose I would draw Shady in. None of them fit. And then I turned to an old photo archive. A few years ago, even before Patreon, my husband and I did some modeling photography. One day we came across a model who sat in front of the camera in this pose. Except she was holding a pie instead of a pumpkin. 

And she had such a great image of a bitch, I couldn't resist, and I transferred her pose to the drawing. Oh, my God, that looks so Marinette. 

Since we have a model pose, it should be glossy XD I hope you liked it :) Oh, and one more thing: of course there's an NSFW version (how could there not be one, eh?!), I'll post it on the thirtieth. Since I won't be able to be at my computer tomorrow and the day after, sorry.  

There's a shadowy Marinette without that marvelous costume, and it suits her just fine
