Hey guys! I am doing some commission work this weekend. I had a super long week and a huge lie in today whoops.

First image is a WIP of the mechanic piece

Second and third are different lighting variations of an interesting building from the 1960s I visited a few months ago. I wanted to capture my experience of being on the balcony of the building.

ALSO I have a super fun idea That I cannot wait to get to work on for my portfolio. Now that I have practiced backgrounds, its time to apply a story to them.

Some of you may have heard a story called the tiger who came to tea? It is a british childrens book. Now, I do not have time to develop a proper story but I have researched and retelling fairy tales is accepted for the portfolio I am making as long as it is unique.

In the story, a tiger visits a family for tea and eats all their food! So the family go to a restaurant to eat. NOW… My idea is, more a child visits a family of tigers for tea but the tigers have HUGE pet bowls of large steaks that is unsuitable for the child, So they either go and buy human food for the child or take him to a restaurant. The tigers do not go out in public often because the people are fearful of them. I dunno - I am not an author but its just a nice concept to explore! It would make some interesting art. I dont need to explain why there’s a random family of tigers when a random tiger visits a family of people in the original lol.

I have 1 more commission to finish but that is what I will be working on in between commissions hehehe!!!

Do let me know if you have any ideas! Main thing is - I need a narrative that makes the portolio stand out.

I like this twist on the story, sounds very intersting! LOVE this mechanic character too! And your architectural drawings are, as always, impressively well-done!
