I felt quite emotional when I made this piece tonight. It’s like 3 am I know but I just had to draw it! 

1 year ago on December 2nd, not only is it my birthday but it’s also the night I met the love of my life. I wanted a small gathering in my flat and invited a small number of girls to celebrate with me but, my flatmates at the time were rude and watched football instead so, we had to go to a random party. I knew no one there, I barely knew the girls i invited and wanted to get to know them better and engage with my flatmates more! I was so upset at first. I drank quite a bit to try get over it when a group of boys I’d never met walked in. me and my future boyfriend made eye contact almost instantly and then, he came over to talk to me but when he said his name was Seb, I kept getting confused! I’d not heard that name before and the alcohol REALLY DIDNT HELP 😂

so I kept asking what his name was thinking it was Sam. We talked for 2 hours straight and He walked me home and asked to see me again soon. We met up many times over Christmas and started dating in January.

I am beyond grateful for this human to enter my life at a most unexpected yet perfect time. it feels so strange that I’ve known him for a year! It feels like not too long ago we had pizza together the day after I met him. I
