Golden Guardian Comic Cover Volume #1 (Patreon)

Welcome everyone to the first in a long series of illustrations featuring the cast of "Golden Guardian". A series I drew many years ago but have finally decided to start drawing again. But not as a comic per say. But as volume covers where I can explain slowly, and in depth, the lore of my story and the characters. Maybe in the future I will make it a full on comic series. But as for now here we go :

In a world, not so different from ours. Beings known as spirits run rampant. But this rampage cant be seen by many. For you see, there are very few beings in this world that can see these spirits, and those spirits reside in every living thing on the planet. Everyone has one, watching over them, making sure they are safe. That voice in the back of your head, telling you what to do, that isn't your self-consciousness. That's your spiritual guardian, and they come in many shapes and sizes. Although, not all have your best interests at heart. Some, will persuade you into doing hideous acts, just so they gain power and ensure you lose more and more control, until, they take over your body and you are gone, forever. These spirits come in many shapes and sizes, some as small as an ant. While some, as large as planets themselves! Though, size isn't always everything, especially when it comes to spirits, even the smallest of beings can be overwhelmingly powerful!

Thankfully, most spirits cant get control over the person they protect and most of them don't want to. They usually have the persons best interests at heart. What is actually funny is that, in fact, only a small handful of people know these spirits actually exist. That is how well hidden they are and how little it seems, from the outside, they seem to effect peoples lives.

Enter Gold Shieldheart, part of a small underground group of people that hunt down spirits gone a stray. He is one of these few beings that is able to sense and hunt down spirits. Not only this, but he can also summon one of his own!...Somewhat... Its unknown what he can summon as of present, his abilities are far from mastered, he doesn't even know what it looks like. All he knows is that they are powerful, and seem to mean him no harm, even though its appearance would say otherwise...

So come and join Gold, on his journey to hunt down evil spirits and put them back in their place! Something tells me Gold has a lot to learn. Not only about his spirit, but about himself. As he doesn't exactly remember much of his childhood, or even how old he is. Not everything is as it may seem, so its time to uncover all the mysteries and go on an adventure as you follow the Golden Guardian!
