Greetings Conquerors,

With last week's release of the WIP version, I wanted to let you all know what my next plans for the mod are. Most of the serious mod-breaking bugs seem to have been fixed so the mod appears to be mostly stable now.

Once I fix a few more bugs, my priority will be to release a console and VR version of the mod which sadly players will be unable to name their faction. I've already made this version but I'm currently in the process of figuring out how to pack the files into console files using the Creation Kit. I can't seem to add external files for some reason but I'll figure something out soon.

Once this is done my priorities will shift to a more detailed city management system, in which the player has to take care of individual city needs rather than having them all spread out through the faction. My ideas for this is as follows:

  • Having your selected Jarls choose a steward and housecarl for each city, but you will have the option to override their choice with your own.
  • Each city will have its own storage for resources, where you will need to transfer resources between your cities if one city needs some that another has excess of.
  • Each city will have a population, which will fluctuate based on how much food the city has. If a city is lacking food, people will start moving to other cities with greater amounts of food to support a greater population. The population affects how much resources each city produces per day.
  • Add a new "loyalty" system for each city, that tracks how loyal your population is to you. It will increase if your city's needs are met, have a big garrison stationed there, and pass laws that the population agrees with(which will come later). It will decrease if you leave your city defenseless, they run out of food, pass unfavorable laws, or throw too many parties(more on this later). If your loyalty gets too low, it will cause a rebellion(this will be a bit further into the future)
  • Recruiting Jarls to the city will cause the cities to be managed automatically, unless you tell them you wish to manage the city yourself.

Anyway, that's what I have planned for the immediate future! Again, thank you all for supporting this mod!

Taking over Forts! I would really like the ability to take over the run down forts and build them back up.

Love these suggestions, but I'd say the stewards should definitely be a priority as not having an allocated steward per hold breaks the radiant quests/bounties.
