So, here's the million dollar question; why IS the intro for this Jessica Kim comic over 90 pages long??

Simple; because "The 50th Birthday of Jessica Kim" is one of TEN scenes in Jessica Kim Episode 1, and there are EIGHT episodes in total. This project is MASSIVE. And "The 50th Birthday of Jessica Kim" is scene 1 of episode 1, so it has a LOT of heavy lifting to do. 

The average Kim scene (including intro scenes for future episodes) have NO WHERE NEAR this many intro-images. Some of them just 2-3 images before the action starts!

Either way, if you're still confused, don't worry about it. All will become clear (or at least, big and fighty) after Jessica answers the door to that big muscular knocker. BIG battle scene in bound!
