Thank you so much for sharing your uncut reaction to this amazing show. Though I would have loved to hear your thoughts afterwards, I wish you wouldn't have cut them off. 🙂 It was very interesting to see the episodes through the eyes of someone who knew the game and therefore the characters. I guess it is exactly this pov what made made me actually a little angry at you for a moment, when you basically said "no, give her up, she's a lost cause." 😅🙈 In what world would a big sister that loves her little sister like Vi does give her up, no matter what she did? Would you do it with someone you love with all your heart? 🤔 I understood Vis anger in that moment and punching and screaming at her, but I didn't understand your lack of compassion for Powder. But then I thought, with Powder only knowing as Jinx, you (maybe?) can't see her as the innocent fragile child she still was at that time. Please correct me, if I'm wrong. 🙂 I knew nothing about LoL before and for me this was an extremely tragic outcoming. I felt (and still feel) incredibly sorry for both of them. It was the logical consequence of everything that happend since they lost their parents. Powder saw the one chance to finally prove her worth, to actually do something right for the people she loved the most and it went tragically wrong. Do you expect reason and rational behaviour from a sensible, frightened 10- or 11-year-old with abandonement issues? And for not following orders: She learned firsthand from her big sister that you don't have to do it, since Vi never listened to the orders she got from Vander (stay out of trouble, don't go northside). I don't know what people wrote in your youtube comments, but there are actually many out there who blame Vi for everything, because of the many mistakes she made with Powder over the years (like telling her she is ready and that family always sticks together and when it really matters taking it back). Or in her (totally understandable) anger at the end, screaming at Powder that Mylo was right and so confirming all her fears and insecurities. She agrees with the one guy who always bullied her little sister and belittled her and fed to her fear to be of no use for her family. When you add everything up, it is no wonder she broke mentally. Forget the slap, Vis words caused far more damage. I personally don't blame anyone. It was a tragic chain of misfortune and bad decisions with horrible consequences. And Marcus kidnapping Vi when she was about to return to her sister - no wonder Powder felt abandoned and latched herself to the last remaining person showing any interest in her. Because Silco knew too, how it feels to be betrayed and left behind. This show is far too good to just settle with "she is crazy". On the contrary, the psychology in this show is very realistic. Powder follows exactly the patterns of someone traumatized with PTSD, abandonement issues and someone not able to handle her emotions in a healthy way. (I hope I'm saying it right 😅) The only thing that maybe could have helped Powder would have been lots of therapy and support from loved ones. Both she never got. 😨🙁 Anyway, sorry that this got so long, it surprised even me. 😅🙈 Despite our different views on the key episode of the whole show, I love your reaction very much (especially you discovering one familiar character after the other😃) and look forward to act two and three...🙂
