This was based on the TV Series 1985; not to be confused with the ‘latest’ evolution tv series. Part 3 should be out soon. In the TV series people would contact him via a newspaper classified ad: "Got a problem? Odds against you? Call the Equalizer: 212 555 4200" as it was shown in the movie. The original TV series was one of the best ever in my humble opinion. This movie series with Denzel Washington change it a bit and scale it up a few notches. For me he is doing a ‘thought experiment’ – calculating how long it will take to do certain things and then starts his ‘timer.’ LOL He continues his ‘helping people’ in the 2nd installment. Mr. Denzel Washington is:"Him!"
