Justice for Zane! I’m so glad you went through with it. The cyberdarks always seemed to muddy the deck and require a very graveyard centric strategy. While people in the anime do use grave focused decks on occasion most people don’t run grave as second hand strategies. Since Yubel is the stated antagonist and you want to finish this year can I hope you are taking the dub route and avoiding the darkness season. After stakes like dimensional merge and collapse a spooky skeleton ghost who goes on about the power of darkness like he was a kingdom hearts villain just was not that threatening. That said Konami has provided for your needs and come up with purpose made Yubel support so the end boss fight won’t need new cards out of nowhere. The MC will probably try to pull his hair out if he sees the level of degeneracy in some of the new support. The second aster plays phenix enforcer I expect a litany of curses so potent it summons Zarc back.

Yes justice for Zane! Yeah, I am going to be avoiding the Darkness plotline. He's still out there, of course, but timeline-wise it is going to happen after the end of this fic. Jaden and the gang will beat his ass offscreen since the changes made to their decks so far are better than what they had in the anime. Plus since Jaden's friends are actually able to contribute in dealing with enemies, that means Jaden doesn't get pushed off the edge due to stress to become the supreme king or whatever that edgy form of his was called. Also that yubel support lmao. It's pretty decent. Cheers!
