Vinny: if Max is truly into BattleBots, check out the online shops for the individual teams for swag. Depending on the team he’s into, they have some cool stuff. For example, team Sawblaze is eBaying off signed pieces of the robot that are battle-damaged from matches. :)

The low potential mega disaster that always held my interest was one of the Canary Islands fracturing. Basically, the volcano on it causes a large percentage of the island to collapse into the Atlantic, causing a mega tsunami to hit the Eastern Seaboard. Living in North Carolina at the time, we were told that the outer banks would just be gone after that and everything from Miami to Maine would be hard hit.
