Maybe not an apprentice scoundrel, more of a journeyscoundrel

The trick with Infection Free Zone is finding a ruin to set up shop in. They’re more permanent terrain than structures and can be great to use to funnel zombies. The Spiffing Brit showed off a really good one in Edinburgh Castle that he lasted in until the game bugged out. Skill based match making I generally don’t mind, but I hated it in Mechwarrior Online. the bottom two or three tiers were just so much more chill and very few people cared about the meta and you could just build out ridiculous mechs and few people cared. It was also kind of nice to see other mechs that weren’t “poptart” builds and teams not “deathballing”, allowing for individual fights. Once you got into the top two tiers, if you didn’t build meta, be prepared for a lot of snark and just general saltiness. I was usually stuck in the bottom end of the 2nd from the top and it was so irritating to play I either had to turn off voice chat or just go afk until I dropped down a tier or two. But for fighting games and similar, skill based match making is almost a must to keep the hyper competitive players from stomping people just starting.
