Schedule for the Week of 07/15/2024 (Patreon)

I bet a lot of folks reading this out there could use a few hours of turning off their brains and a bit of temporary distraction right now. I know I could use it. This Monday I’m going to Grab Bag some games, including Enjenir which went into Early Access last year and was recommended to me recently. Also, I played a bit of Anger Foot and really liked the presentation so far in it, so I might check that out more. On Thursday, I’ll be back after our Q&A with another stream, but still figuring that one out… maybe Homeworld 3? Maybe more Crow Country? Maybe something else? Friday we’ve got everyone back together for our Friday Fun Stream which might have Brad going back into Zelda II! Finish the fight!

Over on the podcast side of things, we’ve got the finale of the Twin Peaks Season 3 Watchcast! That’s it! We’ve watched it all and now we share our thoughts on its ending and what it means. I mentioned up top that we’ve got a Q&A happening on Thursday, so go get your questions in on the Patron Q&A Drop Box channel on the Discord. Of course, we’ll have the Ramblecast and Podcast this week as well.

It doesn’t feel great out there, and I know for a lot of us games (even with all their own issues) have been a refuge or an occasional mental pause button, so thanks for helping build a community that allows for a momentary bit of reprieve from a world that can feel like it’s spinning apart despite our best efforts. I appreciate it.
