Robert Denby

Robert Forster was cast as Sheriff Harry Truman in the pilot, but had something else filming at the same time, so Michael Ontkean was cast in the role instead. Always thought it was a fun casting choice to have The Return bring Forster into the Twin Peaks fold by playing the brother of the character he was originally supposed to play.

Wally's scene is just a fantastic use of everyone's time. Meant to follow along each week, but now I'm on episode 13 so that probably bodes well for the quality of this season.
