Sorcerer, To Live and Die in LA, The Exorcist, The French Connection. All time great movies from Friedkin, would make a great movie month.

After the chicanery of Take-Two with Star Theory (the initial KSP2 dev), I am not trusting anything they say about continuing development. Luckily for me, I didn’t buy it because I thought the dev’s plan and timeline was… Very ambitious, to put it nicely, and took a wait and see approach. Seems it paid off. Microsoft and it’s gaming unit is something I have a lot thoughts on, but Patreon’s posting system is pretty miserable for posting them. But a very condensed version: Microsoft has to have quite a few factions putting demands on what needs to be done and what direction to go. With the closures that sound like the call was made from an accountant looking at a spreadsheet, rumors of the end of the XBox (again), the whole Windows Game Store and Game Pass thing, some very investor oriented questions/responses making it out in public that ultimately sound like “why isn’t this merger making me money now”… It’s a mess for the consumer. As for Helldivers 2, the Steam page did say it require a SOE account, but the EULA said it was optional. The same night of the announcement, the EULA was changed to say it was required. I personally never had a Sony account and don’t want one, so they saved Steam another refund request by backing down on the account requirement. And I think Sony backing down might had more to do with Steam possibly contacting Sony about the spike in refund requests and Steam user potentially losing access to their game if they were from one of the 177 territories that Sony didn’t service. Edit: As for how easy it was to get a refund, two of my buddies that had over 80 hours each requested a refund and it was granted through the Steam support page. This leads me to further to believe that Steam was not amused with Sony’s sudden change on a popular game.

Sorcerer is one of my all time favorite movies, I highly recommend it. The Exorcist is great as well.
