for some reason the way i've set this up sounds like a stranger things episode 🤔 this almost makes me feel sorry for the victim, plus the way he's able to talk to his companion despite what's being done to him... respect.

not a whole lot of worldbuilding here, it's one of those horror scenes where they're escaping a hell dimension! and now thanks to trapping him inbetween, the hell dimension might be able to spread through the human world! something like that
