5:25 Subaru will sometimes shout out random words or phrases in extreme circumstances. "Haidara!" is a battle cry from a video game called Zone of the Enders. It became a meme in Japan for a while, one that a shut-in gamer like Subaru would definitely know.

I feel the same, I'd hate for him to die again and we spawn back to the appa stand. I already feel like it's overused and it'd just kill almost all of the character development. Then again, the show's called Re:Zero (back to zero?) so feels like we'll be there soon enough...Hope we'll get some 'save points' throughout the show rather than have the first season ending with him spawning back to the beginning or something.

I feel like Emilia is her real name. When she first told Subaru her name was Satella, Puck reacted very strongly and then was relieved when Subaru just said, "Oh, what a pretty name!" Then later with all the Jealous Witch stuff, makes me think she really expected him to recognize Satella as something really bad.

For anyone wanting to know why Emilia were able to catch up to the loot house by herself in this loop: . . . . 1. In the first loop Emilia states that Subaru got in the way of her going after Felt, implying that she would have more success on her own. 2. In the second loop Felt arrives around when the sun goes down and states that was got late due to her pursuer were quite persistent and that it took some time to threw her off. 3. In the final loop ln the capital Subaru intercepts Felt earlier in the day and forces her to go straight to the loot house, instead of laying false trails for Emilia. As such, Emilia shows herself to be a "persistent pursuer" and manages to catch up this time when Subaru unknowingly sabotaged Felt.
