"denken we're out of magic" "they can catch these magic hands 👊"

I was wondering why Flamme or Serie couldn’t beat the demon king but this episode cleared it up for me. Magic is all about visualization, and just like how Richter couldn’t visualize beating Kanne and Lawine, Flamme and Serie couldn’t visualize themselves beating the demon king and entering an era of peace.

Honestly my favorite episode so far the buildup to frieren breaking the barrier and the reveal that she had already met serie were too hype

Flashzie

bro this show ain't just about himmel lmao

FluffyPanda

A small but really cool detail. When Freiren is casting the spell to destroy the barrier, the screen flashes for just a couple of frames. If you pause in that moment, you can see Serie's silhouette on Frieren. She said magic is world of visual imagination, so I believe Frieren needed to visualize the person who created the barrier in order to destroy it.

Flashzie

sure, but this was such a banger episode that only pointing the lack of something in the comment was kinda crazy, imo

Alana Misako

yeah it was a great episode with great moments! for me personally, i really adore and savor the SOL moments in this show, and there obviously hasn't been a lot of those moments in the past few episodes. so that's why i made that comment. just my own opinion :)

Burezu

I love the "I hope we are seeing more of HImmel" each episode lmao The impact he had, he is just iconic

teacup_ninja

Seeing how different mages interact and fight each other is so fun, the author really thought things through. (Same about Himmel Alana, I miss our handsome hero).

Justin Navarrete

It didn’t expect Serie’s voice either. I sound a lot like Najimi’s VA from Komi

Showed my wife this show and now that she’s all caught up, I’m convinced she could leave me for Himmel and I wouldn’t fully blame her. Jokes aside, this was a truly fantastic episode (and yet I do miss Himmel, Heiter, etc lately).

When she said, "60% of the human body is made of water." my mind went right to the Freezing Alchemist from FMA:B
