Frieren’s suppressed mana level is that of an old experienced mage. Aura said her mana hadn’t changed at all in 80 years. When Heiter met Frieren he said she had 1/5th of his mana. Meaning Heiter had 5x the mana as an experienced mage, and that was before even setting off to kill the demon king. Also history would call Lawine and Kanne the “best of friends”or even “roommates”…

So many new names and nearly all of them have some meaning for their characters. Luckily most them are pretty straight forward, like Lawine (avalanche) and Kanne (jug, mostly for water) relating to their magic types and to their personalities (Lawine being cold and harsh, while Kanne is rather sentimental).
