Yes, that is something to point out: most of them want to be there: they want the status, the power or whatever benefit the position gives them but there are some like the concubine in this ep that does not want to be there.

A lot of the knowledge regarding botany (especially the flowers) or medicine/poisons are fairly accurate and legit, ofc they take some creative liberties so sometimes they are not 100% accurate (little twists of the facts here and there to fit into the series narrative).
