I hope no one would mind if I explain the names throughout the series. As a German I loved that each name directly shows some aspect of a character, so here we go: Frieren- to be cold, makes sense with how much empathy she lacks, Fern- far away/ distant, also mirroring her personality, Himmel - the sky or heaven, fitting his main color and also the heavenly aura he has, Heiter - happy and cheerful, which we can see in how he always cheers up others and stays positive (if he is not hangover) and Eisen- literally Iron, strong and reliable. I that every character from now on too, doesn't matter if it's only a minor one, has some direct meaning. I would do that for every new character if it doesn't bother or spoil anyone.
