Qual's name means Torture or Torment, "quälen" meaning to torture someone, fitting for the demon that developed the most lethal spell in that time. Also what surprised me in this episode was that they kept it as Zoltraak, while most fan translations of the manga said "Soultrack" idk why they didn't use that as well. Also I think it's so cute how Fern really didn't want to read that book but was burried in it after witnessing "history" right in front of her.
