Sawada is my favourite character. Her relationship with Miyamura is the cutest. I'm so happy to see her again after barely featuring in season 1. The special ED also caught me by surprise. It's so random! 😅

I think it's really good that we're actually getting to see these characters that were almost entirely cut out of the anime in the first season so I don't mind shifting focus a bit. I loved all the Sawada stuff, particularly liked how Sawada asking if she's weird and then getting the answer "you are but that's okay" directly paralleled Miyamura where that exact thing happened as well. In general I love their sibling relationship and how Miyamura protects her. Same with the Yanagi stuff, love seeing more of him, although I suppose we're gonna get more specific focus on him next episode,

Luis Arispe

There's so much content that was skipped in the first season that it feels that Hori and Miya where secondaey characters in this season. I'm still hope that the last two episodes they will be back as the focus and adapted certain situation between the two. Fingers crossed.

Benjamin Sones

These are all the storylines that they left out of the first season because they thought they were only going to get one season and wanted to focus on the main romance plot. So naturally, a lot of this season is going to be focused on characters other than Hori and Miyamura, simply because that's the stuff that got cut out.

Ara Araragi

They didn't mention it in the episode, but the scarf that Sawada's bullies threw out the window belonged to her brother. She was already kinda in her feelings about that, because the night before she had been home alone and got scared by some creaking noises. She went to see Miyamura and he explained that the creaking was due to temperature changes. While she didn't quite come out and say it, Sawada basically told Miyamura that she had been scared because she thought the noises might have been her brother's ghost. Miyamura saw that she was still kinda freaked out, so he invited her to stay over and play video games while gently teasing her for being a scaredy-cat, which reminded Sawada that her brother used to say the same thing about her.
