I am glad my favorite episode got an extended version! Takina and Chisato are just too cute in this episode! Indeed this was a nice slice of life's beforehand the action and the plot starts to unravel. I am looking forward to more!

This episode was the first time I've ever seen a "lift-up skirt panty shot" trope used for actually character development rather than just for cheap ecchi. lol

In the final performance of the live-action stage version, the panty scene set off a full improv among the cast. Shinji (Yoshimatsu) broke out in a spontaneous lecture on the history of underwear in Japan, after which Takina exclaimed "Yoshimatsu-san and I, we wear the same underwear!" Chisato and Takina were going off-stage after that, but Shinji chased them saying "Wait, what Takina-chan? Wait!" (laughing cries were heard from backstage). The whole thang was obviously an improv because other cast members were cracking up on the stage. The ad-lib kept on going until Mika said, again clearly off-script, "Shinji, you finally managed to do this!"
