this arc will always be the best arc in any romance manga to me. i've read it through tons of times and this adaptation was just so good. Aka(the author) making the best confession arc we could have asked for, then immediately after deconstructing it to where it almost seems hollow when you look back on it... only to one up and make truly the best confession arc we could have asked for with this ice arc. It's just so well written. moving forward, the story really does feel like a new game. it becomes a full ensemble show. Some really great moments and arcs in the future. i really hope it gets a full adaptation.

I'm so glad you finally got to see the movie! My first screening we were all cheering and screaming at every moment, and we clapped when they finally kissed in the park! I saw that movie as many as I could while it was available in the theater (4 times)! And now I'm going to watch it again and again!

Picking up the manga after s3 and seeing this adaptation is truly satisfying. And just like you said with how they did at the end, there's so much left of the story and I don't doubt you'll see much more fulfillments like the ones in this special Alana :)

Honestly this movie elevated the show so much for me. The show has always been smart and so good at the things it covers but being primarily a comedy there were certain things i didn't expected them to address. This movie not only did that but it did it in such an amazing way that fits so well with the whole show. I'm very excited to see where it goes from here.

I really hope we won't have to wait too long for another season, because my favourite parts of the manga will only begin from here!

Oh man, I remember reading the ice arc and being so mad at times. Like how dare the author do this. But after the arc was finished I realized just how important it was. Such genius writing. And there are still so many great and fantastic arcs coming (including the one that was teased at the end). Also can't wait till my favourite ship is properly introduced (should be next season hopefully) It's such a wild ride and I'm happy the anime is doing such a good job at adapting it all Now all I need is that S4 announcement

'When you find yourself tired and weary, won't you come rest a while with me?' As hilarious as the dynamic of these two has been for so long, I was not prepared for how much this arc would elevate Kaguya and Miyuki as a couple for me! I loved the movie so much but I think I enjoyed the manga for their scene on the bench even more, something about how quiet it is really moved me. In any case I'm just so happy to see this arc in anime form, I think the character writing from this arc onwards becomes especially mature and realistic and I really cannot wait for season 4 just to see more people's reactions to this amazing series

Ecodude

Yes, they became a couple halfway through the the manga, so a new whole dinamic starts now and a whole new game lmao. And from this point onward the series kinda embraced its seinen nature also

I thought the movie overall was good, but not great. I'm hoping S4 expands on a lot of it, because it feels like they tried to fit way too much into it, and skipped a lot of great stuff from the manga. The entire first date was hilarious, for example.

That’s so true. He made whole S3 Finale seem so meaningless in hindsight (it’s not, it was 10/10). The way this is so much more impactful despite seemingly being a "second" confession just speaks volumes for the storytelling ability of this author

With the recent success I’m 100% sure they’ll see the anime adaptation through to the end, even if they cut some material out to cram it into 2 seasons plus a movie or something like that

Carbon

Hmm, it seems like they'll explore that probs in the first or first 2 episodes of S4 especially Ishigami's and Tsubame's plot. Yes they skipped out a lot, they didn't even show Miko at all and where she was. Excited for those to be animated and fleshed out. I did think they'd include a lot of the shenanigans in the first date as well, but I'm glad they focused on the backstories.

Kaguya-Sama simply cannot miss. It's definitely my favourite anime as well. I love how it manages to completely nail everything you would expect from a romcom anime: buildup, payoff, an absolute S-tier confession arc. And then manages to take it even further and elevate it beyond my expectations. Cannot wait for season 4.

I want to say thank you. I really had a lot of fun on this journey. It was nice to see what a passion you have for the series, I was carried away by it myself. Hope someday I can see your reaction to the fourth season.

The most exaggerated romantic comedy is also the most realistic portrayal of romantic love. How the hell even.

Im just watching this reaction today but man Im just like Hayasaka, I envy them so much And Kaguya-sama is my favorite romance show too, I just love it so much. Can't wait for the upcoming seasons
