This used to be my least favorite ep, but after a few rewatches and seeing reactions it really grew on me. No where near my favorite, but still very good.

I've always enjoyed this episode, but that's because I love stargazing. Leon is alright too. I believe Leon's initial disdain towards dolls is related to his mother. His mother was a singer and dancer who travelled around (like dolls), and eventually fell in love and had Leon, then later abandoned him to look for his missing father. He obviously is harassed a bit about being an orphan, and people know his the history when we think of the guys in the library. "Yeah. You know his mother..." That's just how I see it, I could be off the mark. Still a great episode, they're all great episodes.

My favorite part of this series is that at least one of the episodes will speak directly to you, either the situation or the character feeling extremely relatable. It's just as much about loss as it is about love, and how closely those two things are entwined.

One of the things the show didn't include from the light novel chapter with this story was how when Leon said Violet is "just a girl" her reaction was one of appreciation since it was such a contrast to people seeing her as just "a weapon" or her role. Not a huge deal but was a character moment that stuck out to me.
