2023-04-27 17:33:01 Im so happy you're watching this, one of the best shows ive seen with some of the best character development ever. Even with how good it is and how good the adaptation is, the novels are somehow even better. There's lots of subtle things this they translated from the novels that u really have to pay close attention to. Like the subtle gestures and pieces of dialogue that can give u so much more of a characters personality or what their thinking, or the way the camera sometimes only shows what a certain character is seeing(camera wise more so in s2&3). There's so much to talk about but i don't wanna give away any spoilers, just know u r in for a treat. And if u watch and really pay attention (like u always do) i know u enjoy this ride. Anyway through out i might comment on somethings they missed or changed from the LN's, or my general thoughts of the characters. until next episode 😊 one more thing the art style looks kinda okayish in s1 but in 2&3 when a new studio takes over it ends up looking beautiful.

Yeah, "My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, as I Expected" is a closer translation of the original title. Sometimes they change up the English titles, usually for the worse. Like, My Dress-Up Darling's actual title is その着せ替え人形は恋をする (Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru), which is literally "The Bisque Doll Who Fell in Love." Which is a MUCH better title.

Just wait until season 2. That's where you'll see the most character development. And especially in chapter 8 of the 2nd season. For me, it is the climax of the series in terms of development and one of the best chapters ever.

I can't even begin to explain how happy i am that you are doing this. Oregairu is one of my favorite Stories ever put to paper (might even be number one, i'd have to reread Mistborn to figure it out) and i'm currently in the process of reading the Manga and rereading the Light Novel. Also, the translated title of the Anime is really bad IMO. The LN title "My Youth romantic comedy is wrong as i expected" is not only more accurate but the Anime title also kind of conveys the wrong expectation.
