There is something odd about Kita's phrasing about Ryo. Mostly the fact that when the subs say "I want to become her girl" she uses the word for daughter instead. Hence Bocchi wonders for her sanity.

God I love Bocchi, this show is so funny and creative

kita's crush on ryo is so cute. I love how she also has social anxiety about a lot of stuff and has similar bocchi-style breakdowns, even though she's extroverted - some of the most socially anxious people I know are extroverted! Meanwhile, although ryo is introverted and nijika is extroverted, they're similar in that they don't have social anxiety. Side note, make sure not to skip the ED next episode! The show has 3 (technically 4) EDs and the second one starts in episode 4!

It's so hard to not watch the rest of the show after watching your reactions lol. what a wholesome day bw this and Dress-Up ep 5 later

Hey I just wanted to let you know that the next episode's ending is different, so don't skip it if you want to check that out. I think there are also ending changes for episode 8, 9, and 12. (The songs are the same for 8 and 9 but the visuals for 9 are different)

tues n thurs my new favorite days!

true but not entirely true. The word "Musume" 娘 (むすめ) can mean daughter yes. BUT. It can also mean "young girl" or "young lady" depending on the context. Japanese has a weird way of having double/triple meanings for words but it's also a language that HEAVILY focuses on the context of the conversation prior for follow-up statements.

If you enjoy the music/band side of this show, I highly recommend the anime BECK Mongolian Chop Squad.

Bocchi’s personality and school life resonate with me as I was similar in my early highschool days, sans guitar and music. Though I later got involved with music, bands and such when I got into photography
