The quotes they made, the talk about playing Ravel, about her not being a princess etc, they are all references to the book she was reading in the hospital and she saw his name on the book library tag, knowing he already read it.

LOL trust me you’d love it. It’s one of my favorite animes of all time. The 1st season is 24 episodes but the last 2 are OVAs, and the 2nd season, Clannad Afterstory, is also 24 episodes and the last 2 are OVAs. It’s definitely an emotional show and it’s the only anime I’ve ever watched that made me cry from happiness

Clannad is a crazy journey. Definitely one of the best of all time. Clannad first season is a little slow but an excellent prequel for the "After Story"

Maybe my favorite episode of the anime. Pass the tissue box over here, will you? I'm crying, too. Just as an aside, have you ever seen that other classical music anime, Nodame Cantabile? It's older, but I love it a lot and go back to it every few years to revisit it.
