i think a really cool parallel to real life in this episode was when abiko and kichijouji were fighting and she said “if you or i create 3 new mangas, 2 will be dull”. in a conversation between probably 2 of the best mangakas in their world she’s saying even we can’t be perfect. and while this chapter came out way before, i feel it really relates to akasakas last manga “love agency” that just got cancelled after 39 chapters (sadly, i enjoyed it lol). even he who created back to back masterpieces is bound to fail.
