hi Alana! not sure if you caught it last episode, but it's implied in episode 1 that Cheng is the main reason why Emma died. It's hinted several times in the episode, like Cheng talking to Lu Guang, saying "If I did something, would I have changed everything?". Lu Guang replied with "You didn't really do anything stupid, did you?" and during the emotional scenes, a certain scene came up where it showed Cheng replying back to Emma's mother with "Dad... Mom... I miss you." (even if Lu Guang told him to leave it.) which ultimately became the reason why Emma's parents traveled all the way from the countryside to the city where Emma was at, whiiichhh led to a situation where Emma was rushing to the train station, whiiicchhh led to the shocking ending of the first episode. commenting this as I really wanted to see your reaction to the fact that a singular message was all it took for something drastic to happen to Emma, but was confused that you never mentioned it. I read through discussions and watched other reactions, and saw that they noticed it too (I also did on my first watch), so I don't think it's a spoiler. sorry for the long comment. I didn't watch the timer reaction, so if you did notice it, sorry for pointing it out. I even waited til episode 2 reaction, just to make sure I wasn't buggin lmao. anyway, great reactions as always, I've been enjoying the link click & summertime reactions!! <33

dont know if anyone told you, there is an episode titled episode 5.5, its not a filler, its actually a really good episode and important for the story
