It is ok to be confused at first in S2 because all the new things they hint but during the season those things will be cleared. The only thing you will need to do is pay a lot of attention to dialogues and the character actions so I'm glad that you re watch some parts during editing. Also Echidna best girl

You are catching on to the right things, I like that. Also even when rewatching, I so much love the makers of Re Zero for sacrificing the opening and ending clips to bring more lore into the episode. There are a lot of episodes where they do that.

Next episode is one of my favorite episodes!!! This is actually something that is never really done in isekais too!!! I can only think of one other one that’s done something like this other isekais typically give you a little backstory at the beginning and never really go deep into the MCs past life. Next episode will have you saying “this explains so much about subaru” lol

Yep and they typically use the OP and ED songs in really great moments too I love this about Re zero too you can really tell they care about doing the story Justice and how much they love the series they are working on
