I love soup season. I think our final day of actual summery heat as passed and it's time to start thinking about dusting off the ol' crock pot. Sometimes I wonder if any of the books you've edited pass through my hands as a bookseller. How fun. Update incoming.

In the previous episode of Where on Earth are ATEEZ... we left them in Japan preparing for Inkigayo Live. Links if you're interested. They performed several songs, but a few days later when they aired the show, they only showed Bouncy. Yunho was one of the MCs and stayed in Japan an extra day to do day 2 as well. Bouncy, normal version minus Jongho: https://youtu.be/-NloQ2ks_M8?si=_1Bxw0shq4nxb4jU They did the Yeongdong-daero Gangnam Festival concert where the HALA billboard appeared. Video quality was fine but they mixed their mics so low it was nearly pointless to even have them. They did three songs, here is Utopia: https://youtu.be/kex5d1Uz-xk?si=QQ0HsM6-Osi6bEUI&t=368 They won an Artist of the Year award at The Fact Music Awards and performed Bouncy, to which they had fun adding extra things. Award and Bouncy, extended cowboy edition: https://youtu.be/107CPWLc8Wg?si=SdUkj7agQCqiFi00&t=137 I'm including some small, little things with the "they performed here" bigger things, and I'm quite verbose and will continue beneath the fold.

Like you have time to read this... ah well. After the show Hongjoong was in chat saying how he was enjoying our journey, and said we can't leave the ship because... we are in the middle of the ocean, and... there are sharks! He said the Captain will sing and dance for us, and there is no seasickness so our voyage will be fun. lol Jongho's birthday was fun: song, What's in My Head and a live, glad he's back. Then they went to Paris. There, Seonghwa opened a live on their app, bowed, ate a hamburger and a few fries, bowed, waved and closed the live while trying not to laugh. He didn't say a word. lol https://youtu.be/csCXyDAa70w?si=dMsRFUmPW01-DsRx Their trip to Paris was mostly to help South Korea promote their bid to host World Expo 2030 in Busan. Mingi attended the ‘One Planet, Building Bridges To A Better Future’ Gala at Foundation Louis Vuitton. He has fully black hair for the first time in nobody remembers Pic: https://x.com/zhouang/status/1713527675074298132?s=20 They opened the show for MCountdown France with the K tigers taekwondo colab of The Real! They have been with Ktigers before on Kids Teaching Idol. It was a great opening to do while promoting Korean culture and the crowd was very excited. Their opening outfits were great and include what is now my new FAVORITE skirt. Hongjoong really knew how to give it just the right flourish. Best part: THE RETURN OF JONGHO!!! Playlist includes all 5 songs, followed by the short Korean promotional video Matz did. I recommend at least The Real: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLrYtmC4av4LLXmsOWk9d4q9I_d5t1hXh4&si=EjouMHKTQVUo8CHb France loves ATEEZ, and according to Psy at the end of the show, KPOP in general, so they were LOUD. Both in person and streaming, they impressed so many people that our twitter timelines were FILLED with non-ATINY talking and asking about them. Someone put together a sampler: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/F8jWfenXwAA3qKx?format=jpg&name=large That same day it was announced that ATEEZ won the Edaily Culture Awards' Best Concert Award for Break the Wall. They'll get a trophy and are now up against winners from the other categories (Play, Classic, Dance, Traditional Music, Musical) for the grand prize. I never expected to see ATEEZ vying for an award against Seoul Ballet Theatre and the musical Memphis. LOL COMING SOON: Oct 18 then twice a week on YouTube - "The Fellowship: The Footage" was announced entirely by a vague graphic https://x.com/ATEEZofficial/status/1712030285364392059?s=20 Everyone got very excited expecting behind-the-scenes of their tour stops, then they dropped this https://pbs.twimg.com/media/F8Y1irWa0AADGdF?format=jpg&name=medium so there's a little "why not mine/all of them?" but mostly a lot of "WHY NOT THEIR FIRST STADIUM IN BRAZIL?!?!?!" including from me. Honestly, if they didn't document it... There are other special dates not on the list too. Although I am quite excited to finally see my show on Hongjoong's birthday in Anaheim, not gonna lie. Oct 24: ATEEZ's fifth birthday! They have dropped no hints at all but I still think they will be in the states by then so they aren't jet lagged for the Immortal Songs fiasco/concert on the 26th. They have been saying for a LONG time that they have a LOT planned for their birthday, our birthday, rest of the year, etc. So we'll see! I shall close this entirely too long-winded update with today's contribution to comedy from Mr Park Seonghwa: saying "bye bye" https://x.com/AtinyByStar/status/1713939323404599406?s=20

It's possible. Most of my authors stick to ebooks. Either that, or the physical books are more for Christmas time, because that's the only time they see any sales from them. I know some independent authors who make a nice little amount from physical sales, though.
