Mmm well made lamb is really really good though. Glad you got to this content. It's just so lovely. I can't imagine how it was for people who were far away from their family with no chance to just go home during the pandemic. And there's something about food from home. You're right, we don't often hear Han talk about his family. I'm glad he sees his dad often. But he, too, must be missing things. And yes, he was pretty young as well when he moved to Korea. He joined JYPE when he was 15 and trained for 3 years. Not sure how long he'd been in Korea before he passed the audition, but yeah, probably around age 14-15. Chan said in in interview that he was 15 when he came, but that's Korean age. He passed the audition in 2010 and moved to Korea april 2011. So almost 6 months before his 14th birthday. These boys were SO young.

It's just mind boggling to think of what it would have been like to move to not just another country, but also a big city like Seoul, all by myself when I was 13/14 years old.

I would have died. When I was around that age I fainted at a dance workshop because I thought an apple would be a sufficient breakfast for a full day of dancing because "apples are healthy." XD

Hans family lives in korea not malaysia they a returned long time ago since they were only there for his father’s business they just live in another city ( incheon ) that’s why it’s a little harder to see them, but yeah he came to korea when he was very young, i think he went to malaysia when he was 9 ( he said on leemujin service ), and it’s really funny how we still don’t know a lot of thighs about his family unlike the others all we know is he has an older brother but it’s nice to know that he’s able to protect them!

Thank you. With Han not talking much about his family, I knew that his father was in Malaysia for work, but I had no idea how long they all lived there for. It's good to hear that his family is at least close enough to be able to visit without having to jump on a plane.

Mei-Sin Lai

I.N was referring to his last name being Yang and lamb meat in Korean is also yang gogi. 😅 Howl's moving Castle is a Studio Ghibli animation movie that Han really likes.

K-pop Auntie

Thank you! I wasn't aware of yang gogi being the translation for lamb meat. I'm going to try to remember that.
