I knew you'd love this little series. And I love hearing you analyse their different approaches. Yes, it's clear Hyunjin had at that point done the most in production/songwriting. And it makes me wonder if it wasn't a little bit too much of a coincidence that he ended up going into the only empty room left. But either way, it worked out well. I know not every song starts with the track first. Some artists write lyrics first and then the track and top line follow. Others do it more like this. But even with the track first, there are different approaches. And I love seeing that. Also very much enjoyed the different teaching styles. And the background stories. Like the sushi...omg....that's a LOT of money on sushi. I've been to some expensive sushi restaurants, but never managed to spend that much on sushi (maybe one, but at that one I didn't have to pay hahahaha, it was a business thing and I never saw the menu with prices, but I know it was an exclusive place). Too cute to hear this later on. Lee Know seems to often go home to feed the cats, pet them a bit...and leave again. Can't blame him. And his cats ARE gorgeous and adorable. As to Han and Lee Know appearing to be peers in this one, joking around together....I do get the impression that at first, Lee Know was still a bit uncomfortable with the idea of making a song. And I think Han's joking was pulling him out of that discomfort a bit. I wonder if Han often does that with Lee Know. I can see that. Aaahhh and so much cat-content today!!! Love love love that!!!

All the cats. I guess they needed attention. It was pouring rain out, so they were probably bored. It is kind of cool to hear the Lee Know seems to pop into home often. I'm sure his mom loves seeing him. Good son. And good cat butler. It's so much fun to see the different approaches to song making. You're right, I'm sure there's no "right" way to do it. The important thing is finding the process that interplays best with your brain.

You asked if chan has a habit of talking about people in the third person, and i've only just started trying to learn korean, but from what i know its considered rude to call someone by "you" unless you know them really well. And considering that chan was a trainee (and the youngest trainee at that) for a really long time i imagine he was required to speak politely to seniors for a really long time and so he may just have that habit of continuing to refer to people by name rather than a pronoun? Because we know he values manners and politeness greatly. Its interesting though. I wish i knew korean so that i could understand the nuances of his and the others' speech because translation is hard and its not always possible to convey the full meaning of something in the space thats available for subtitles

I do agree with that, yeah. I hadn't thought of it, but now that you mention it, I'm vaguely aware of it not being socially polite to call people by their names unless good friends. Titles and even full names are preferable, from what I understand.
