Gosh, it's been ages that I watched this and I'd actually forgotten the whole Queen-thing in the beginning. That had me on the floor, especially with your reaction. This was a Skz version of Running Men where they actually competed for the right to be the first of them to go on that show IF they were ever asked. LOL. BUt it was fun to watch them. And interesting too, because you could learn a lot about them. Woojin was very competitive, I've noticed that in other older content. And he was a strong guy too. So a fierce competitor. And clearly not into making alliances. Hyunjin IS a drama guy, but gosh, he sure was unlucky with the boxes. As unlucky as WOojin was lucky with them. ANd Chan....I think you're right. He didn't try very hard to take Changbin's tag in the end. And it was interesting how Changbin and he ended it. I think Chan is pretty competitive when they're competing against others, but when it's the younger members....he has no problem losing. I have seen it so many times that I'm pretty convinced. It's not that he lets them win.....but he doesn't always try hard (unless he's playing uno with Felix hahaha). At least not in these situations. I don't know...I think he even said something about that in one of his vlives. Or one of the others did. Have a vague memory of them talking about it. And Lee Know....another interesting one in these games. A very smart player. Very unlucky with Woojin's ticket "back at you", but he played it smart. Seungmin had a little injury it said in the subtext, a bruise. So I'm sure he was being checked when they filmed the ending. really felt for Hyunjins bad luck...and for Felix. Felix's face when Woojin took his tag....after being wrestled against the bench. FElix has such an expressive face too. LOL. Looking forward to watching the rest of this series with you. I'm sure there are more bits I'll have forgotten so that's fun.

It does seem that when Chan is in a team competition, he gets really competitive. But as soon as it comes down to him competing one-on-one against a member when he knows all the attention is specifically on them, I've noticed he tends to give up in those particular moments. Always wanting his guys to shine. Felix's disappointment was so real. He was taking it pretty seriously, lying on the ground to not be seen and all. He was into it. And yeah, he can't hide his emotions.

I don't think we ever found out what happened to Seungnmin but he actually shows up in a wheelchair in the next episode, and he couldn't perform during their tour and sat on a stool at the side of the stage :(

Grace: "I think Autumn is getting to be a little too well behaved, better start setting an example..*bats bowl off cat tower* There, that ought to do it."

Brenna K

Or actually, was that Doc? I still have a hard time telling them apart. My main method of telling them apart is usually: If they're on top of the cat tower or causing trouble its probably Grace. If they're asking for attention or napping on the heating pad it's probably Doc. So I kind of just assumed it was Grace, lol.

Katja already sort of explained it, but just to clarify about the rest of the show: Basically most of the episodes of this season are all actually based on/parody's of actual popular variety shows that exist. The concept of each episode is that the members are competing for a coupon from the company that basically just gives that member first dips/priority if they're ever casted to be on the ACTUAL show. So this one was for Running Man. As far as i'm aware, none of them ever actually went on any of the shows unfortunately (I don't think?) Not entirely sure why, cause SKZ is more than popular enough to get those kinds of offers these days. Perhaps there just isnt the time. Either way, super fun season. I love watching their older content but i'll admit I tend to get a bit distracted just paying attention to Woojin. It's so hard not to subconsciously end up watching how he is with the other members. I'm sure the amount of things I notice and say, "huh, interesting." are things I wouldn't have thought twice about if he'd never left. But it's a classic example of how if you're looking for something, your brain will start to see it. Now that everything's said and done, it can be easy to read into things that most likely mean nothing. A curiosity itch that will never be scratched I suppose. But it's interesting watching with the knowledge of what ends up happening in the same way that I watch Han and Hyunjin in the survival show through a different lens now that we know that behind the scenes they were nearly getting into physical fights and the other guys had to break them apart, lol. Anyways, don't mean to bring up a negative, it's just something I always accidentally end up paying attention to. I think my perspective on it is also somewhat different since I became a Stay long after he left. (side note: I don't have any animosity towards him, I purely just find it interesting to watch the dynamics. I'm not trying to hunt for things to villainize him or something) Also dang, so much Patreon content this week! To quote Mcdonalds, I'm lovin' it.

K-pop Auntie

That was Doc. You're usual assumption of their behavior is very correct, though. The main difference on first glance is size, but it's hard to tell on video. As is Grace having more shades of ginger.

K-pop Auntie

That's a really fun concept to play with for a variety show. I wonder if they'll wind up honoring those coupons if SKZ ever is invited to any of these shows. I know what you mean with watching Woojin. Almost like there's going to be some dead set giveaway of... I'm not even sure. The mind searches for explanations when none has been provided.

this one and the one with eggs I really don't like maybe because of the violence toward each other seeing it makes me sad for I.N with him being so young at the time

K-pop Auntie

At least it was pretty tame. That kind of rough play with guys can get really rough. I'm sure that's half the reason they do things like standing on an increasingly small piece of paper now instead lol.

Brenna K

Well you may already know about this Krissie but just in case you don't: I.N. has talked about that since, saying that he was kind of frustrated at the time but that Lee Know ended up apologizing to him later for breaking the eggs! So that's nice. The roughhousing doesn't bother me too much just cause that's honestly so normal among male friends, lol. Honestly the only moment that kinda made me go, "Nooo :(" was when Woojin took Felix's nametag. Mostly just cause Felix was kind of helpless at that moment and WJ was a tiny bit rough about it. And honestly just the fact that it was Felix, lol. Sunshine. I felt a bit bad for him. But I assume that everyone's mindset was still pretty lighthearted since it's just a game. Also Karlie, I think you're probably spot on! I feel like the staff probably determined that SKZ's strength is stuff like Finding SKZ season 3 or Kingdom Week where it's literally just everyone flirting and proposing to each other, lol. It's like they realized, "Hey if you put them on camera, these boys will never miss an opportunity to profess their undying love for each other. Let's make a show about that instead!" 😂

Running man is a Korean TV show that basically made Korean shows popular overseas. It's so far the most famous and the most successful show from Korea. SKZ immediacy thought about running man after seeing those name tags because running man made those tags super popular in Korea. Ripping name tag game is basically the game that represents the show

Lessa

Yep, if I remember correctly thats the same amusement park. They also went there recently on skz code

After woojin left a lot of people point to this episode as evidence of chan and woojins "animosity" but honestly, i thought they kept the game very tame. Goodness knows if it had happened with any of my guy friends (and honestly most of us girls would be worse) there would be people in headlocks and getting swiped at the ankles all over the place hahaha. I do think this would be a super fun game though! Though a little harder for the average person to organise a big play area as we dont all have access to empty theme parks and such. I do think chan let changbin win at the end too though. Its a very on brand sort of decision for our favourite "Leader Bang"

K-pop Auntie

Yeah, the violence level that would be brought by most guys to this game seems like it would just by default be about three settings above what SKZ were doing here. It's actually impressive they kept it that toned down, considering how competitive I know they can get sometimes.
