I loved that transition and the use of the costumes. Really well done. And yes, I'm pretty sure it's that what Chan is doing. Whenever you see him in the background, he has his laptop open and his headphones on. So I'm sure he's always working on tracks. And of course talking to staff etc about things they need to know, do...leader is not just a title. ALthough I think Chan said that Versochoi did a lot of the new arrangements. Anyway, always so impressed. They really DO switch it up for every stage. Never the same stage. Ever. Hats off. that cover was just so cute. Nice outfits. And they clearly enjoyed themselves.

Hearing how much SKZ switches up their own songs for performances makes me want to watch these award performances even more.

Janeta Cherry

Did you react or see the taste performance?

Katja van den Berg

They are really fun to watch. They're very long, mind you, and I have to admit that I had them on while doing things in the living room, and watched what I wanted to watch. Lot of great stages. Skz is my preference, but that's no secret haha. And I found they did show the most variety, both in songs as in arrangements and stage

K-pop Auntie

Not sure which one, but I did react to a live performance of Taste when I first reacted to the song.

Janeta Cherry

No, I meant the one they did 3 weeks ago for MBC. They changed it up in the beginning and it's my favorite performance of taste

Bang Chan and Versachoi remix the songs regularly for year-end performances. You almost never hear the original backing track for these special events. And yea - I don't doubt Chan's off in the corner remixing and mastering during every back stage free moment. The theme for this award show was "Y2K" so groups did covers of other songs, special stages, and collaborations. The trio performance was part of a larger performance where multiple JYP groups (NMIXX, ITZY, and SKZ) performed together: https://youtu.be/s6ylgNtGnPo The song SKZ are covering in the compilation is "As I Told You" by Kim Sung Jae. Very dark fact, Kim Sung Jae was k*lled immediately after he performed this song for the first time by his ex.

K-pop Auntie

Yikes. Dark fact, indeed. I'm liking all of these performances. And I'm sure SKZ is so happy to be out performing as well.

Krissie 83

I believe it has something to do with the year they were born in

I think the assignment was Y2K, hence the white boy band clothings and the remix to suit the sounds of early 2000. I want all of the remix versions of the songs they performed on stages.
