So like you said, of course there could be different ways of viewing the message. But when I think about the meaning behind it, this was the impression I got: The main character of the song is someone who has horns growing out of their head, of course very obvious symbolism for something bad, an imperfection. This imperfection makes them feel different, judged, and like they're "the only bad thing in this world" as the lyrics say. These horns are causing them pain, whether that's supposed to be physical or emotional. But they encounter this other character in the song, one with wings. Something that also makes them different and is an imperfection. But the main character sees the beauty in this person's wings, calling them their salvation like they're an angel. The main character asks the other person "Are your wings the same pain like mine?" Meaning like their horns. I assume the question is supposed to be asking "Do you also feel different, like me? Do you think being different is bad?"And because of finding that community and commonality with this person, they begin to see the beauty in their own imperfection, and begin to view their horns as a crown, rather than something evil. Just the over-arching idea of finding perfection in imperfection, and letting your differences be your strengths and what makes you whole. This idea is probably something lots of people can relate to, having something within yourself that you view as a flaw, something you wish you could change. Until someone comes along and helps you see the beauty in it, that being different isn't bad. This is a very small thing but for myself, I always hated my VERY curly hair growing up. Curly hair is by it's very nature incredibly imperfect and chaotic. The thing that made me stop hating my hair and start embracing it was that it was just like my sister's. I never viewed her hair as an imperfection, just something that made her uniquely beautiful. After seeing that beauty in her, I no longer obsessively straightened my hair and began to take pride in this thing that made me "different". Of course that's a very minor example of it. Anyway's that's my take on it. Perhaps the intention was more so like you said: the idea of two sides of yourself, an angelic and a devil side, and eventually finding wholeness and joy in embracing the devil side while the wings cause you pain. I'm not sure about the abracadabra line. Maybe you're right that it's supposed to be sarcastic, but I personally just took it as a way of saying "This friend who is different, like me, has eased my pain and loneliness by making me feel like it's okay to be who I am." Thank's for the reaction! I figured this wouldn't be up your ally but it's still cool to see where they started versus where they are now. If you're interested in keeping it going with TXT then it might be interesting for you to react to their music video for their song "Eternally"! It's a very weird experience. "Eternally" is a B-side song from a past album I believe, and the song itself is super odd, but I kinda like it. It cuts back and forth really suddenly between this soft lullaby type song and this really intense dark part. They made a music video for it that's actually mostly story based. It's 19 minutes long with the song broken up into parts throughout the video. The video is pretty visually stunning and very interesting, though i'm not really sure what it all means. But's it's a little freaky and story heavy, with surprisingly high production value. Similar to the trailer's for SKZ's Oddinary album. You might find it interesting. (Also I'm so sorry for my absolute ESSAY of a comment here😂)

Never worry about essays. I read them all. This is what I love about good songs. Individuals can relate to the lyrics in very personal ways; ways the require a story to be told in order to explain the meaning. It's one of the beauties of music and the way it makes us feel. Loved your take on it. Thank you for sharing. I'm intrigued by this 19 minute story-based video. Debating on whether to watch some more MVs first.
