Scars is my favourite skz song, and i love the choreo for it. You don't get to see all the details in the choreography unless you watch the full dance practice unfortunately though. Lee Know is so funny! He has such an odd sense of humour and I absolutely adore it hahaha

Absolutely love Scars. It wasn't my first Stray Kids video or first Kpop song, but it was what sold me to Stray Kids. A friend had sent me a few other songs and MV's before that, mostly Stray Kids, but some others too...and I loved them. It taught me kpop was not what I thought it was. And I loved the theatricality of the performances, loved the music, especially Stray Kids with their constant surprises in the tracks. but then I saw and heard Scars and I was a Stay. No going back. I especially love the One Take version. That is so incredibly beautiful. Love the start of the performance of Scars too, with all the hands on Chan, although it also makes me laugh a bit now, because we know there are hands we cannot see and we now know what some of those hands are doing. Not too difficult to imagine of course, when you think about Lee Know. Interesting that these subtitles weren't the best. Stray Kids Subs have a website and it shows how much time they take to do them, the entire process is there...and you'd think with that many people working on it, simple mistakes would be caught. Still, I'm very grateful to them because without subtitles we'd be lost. Had to laugh at your words about the ou in spelling. Doesn't have to mean the translators came from Britain or one of the (former) colonies. I went to uni in the Netherlands and had a choice between the American and the British language lab. For me it wasn't much of a choice, because I was an evening student at the time and was stuck with the British because of that, but overall it was pretty evenly divided. It's like that in a lot of countries in Europe.

I agree. SKZ's Japanese releases are SO underrated. And yeah, translations are hard. I inevitably comment when something is off, but I was and Ancient Languages minor in university and was learning seven languages at once... and translations are hard. Parsing verb tenses... I'll pass.

Katja van den Berg

I love languages and learning languages. Took Ancient Greek and Latin in High School and thought it was so cool. So between the ancient languages and 4 modern foreign languages I came close to that. It's not easy, but so much fun! But parsing verb tenses will never be my hobby.
