The amount of lies and just, misdirection they do in interviews is crazy!!! i feel bad for people who first come across skz through these sorts of interviews because they're pure chaos and they like to intentionally say stuff thats already in jokes in the fandom hahaha

Yeah, you can tell when the interviewer isn't familiar with them and yet SKZ is just being SKZ. The interviewer's consternation is evident.

Seungmin was really on a roll here. Chan...Changbin....poor guys hahahaha. But they both take the jokes so well. I think they actually really like it. Because it's all in fun. And I think they see it as a way to express affection. Poor Lee Know though. Yeah, he clearly can't follow enough of the conversation to even react let alone speak. And it does remind you of Felix in the beginning. I think Lee Know has worked on his English, but it will still be difficult for him to follow things like this. And even at the point where he can follow it, it will still take time before he can actually actively join in a conversation. I remember being in the UK decades ago, with a group of British friends, and they were all talking so fast and it took all I had to keep up with the conversation and to get the jokes....but by the time I'd formulated my own thoughts in English, the conversation had moved on and I was too late. So I ended up mostly listening. Especially in the group. I'm sure Lee Know, too, would fare better in a one-on-one situation. Anyway, I feel for him here. But he's focused more on Japanese, which is also important for them.

I agree so much with how confusing it can get when you're with a group of people speaking in another language. Even if you have a passing knowledge of it, when you have multiple people speaking over top of one another... everything just gets muddled and it's impossible to distinguish words. I have to admit, I kinda love that Lee Know just sits there blank faced, not even trying to pretend like he following what's going on. There's something endearing about that for some reason.
