These two are so interesting. I love that the conversation turned to leadership styles. I do think IN would be a great but very strict leader if he had debuted with a younger group, but I very much relate to him on the feeling of being thankful to NOT have to be that person. I'm very much the sort that loves to help run things from the shadow rather than being in the spotlight, so it really does make a lot of sense to me. Chan is such an amazing leader to me, and i think that a lot of that is just his experience. He went through a lot, but was also the youngest for a long time and so was able to watch and learn a lot of what to do, but especially what not to do. You can tell that he really thinks about his team so much more than he thinks about himself and while that does make me a little sad for his own well being, it really does contribute into making him an amazing leader for their team.

I agree. Chan saw a lot of the right way to do things and the wrong way to do things during all his years training. And he experienced that insider's-view from a range of ages, which I'm sure contributed to his perspective.

LMAO when you realised this was an hour-long reaction! You have a lot to talk about. And it's actually quite interesting. And that includes you talking about your grandmother's house and parents fighting/arguing and your own relationship. Not to mention the pets coming and going. It's actually what makes your reactions really fun. I really loved all the talk about leadership. Differences in approach or possible approach. And it's interesting to think about what others would have been like as the leader. Had I.N. not debuted at that time, would have have debuted with a younger group and maybe been the leader? What would that have done to him? And if Chan had debuted earlier, maybe as one of the youngest guys of a group, how would that have affected him? Maybe he would have gotten more sleep LOL. But when you talked about how it's different in other groups, where only the leader really does the writing and the producing, I can't imagine Chan in such a group and just be.....one of the vocals? rappers? Dancers? I can't imagine him NOT constantly making tracks and making songs and producing. I'm really glad it worked out the way it did.

I agree. Seeing Chan as the leader and producer that he is, it's hard to imagine him in a supporting role maybe doing a little writing and top lining here and there. I know he had a rough road to get where he is, but I'm guessing he'd do it all over again in order to take that path that led to this destination.

I think he would. And when you look at it, some the best artists in history had a difficult road. It's what made them great.
