This is such an interesting duo. They truly care for each other and you can see it in all the little things they do for each other. They don't necessarily talk about it here but from various content and talks they have I get the impression that Changbin was the one, despite not knowing that much english, who really took Felix under his wing when he became a trainee. It would not surprise me if Changbin ended up being one of the main speaking partners for Felix to practice with when he was learning Korean because to be a quality rapper you have to have good pronunciation, and thus who better to help someone learning the language (and we know from the HanXHyunjin 2kr that Han was a bit... shall we say abrasive as a trainee lol). I think Felix's unconditional trust in Changbin really makes Changbin himself strive to be a better person too. They have such a wonderful... positive feedback loop? Symbiotic relationship? Felix trusts Changbin and so Changbin tries harder to live up to that trust by being a better person which makes Felix like and trust him even more etc etc. Its truly beautiful to see!

Gosh yes, these two were interesting together, weren't they? And personally, I love how you end up pausing and talking about what they're saying. Yes, the downside of being sensitive is the strong possibility of having self esteem or insecurity issues. It's been very clear Felix was insecure about his vocals. And he's only now starting to sound a little bit more confident. And apparently he also wasn't good at standing up for himself. On the other hand, the others have mentioned that he was always the one to approach the others if there was some kind of issue, wanting to talk about it. So that side of him wasn't affected much by his insecurity. And goodness, is he good at complimenting. At saying the right thing to make the other feel good. And Changbin, in his own style, is able to do the same thing. So amazing. LMAO when you lost it over Lee Know's reaction to Chan talking about the happiness you get from a little chick..."yes protein". That whole bit was hilarious.

Yeah, I feel like there is a lot going on under the surface with Felix. Like he's the one that wants to embody that nickname of Sunshine, and so there's a lot of him we don't see. Willful blindness, to some degree, because there's this wishful expectation that he really is that uncomplicated ray of sunshine. But I'm sure there's some deep shadows in there as well.
