Maybe the judge's decision is going on the wow Factor of the band itself and not by other singers that were brought in to make it the performance wow if you know what I mean. just thinking because one of the reasons you really enjoyed one of the performances is because of the opera singers that were bought in. Not sure if I'm making sense lol

That makes total sense. It's a competition for the groups, not for who they can pull in to compliment the performances.

Yes, I agree with Krissie 83. I had the same thought. One of the online comments they showed for Ikon's performance was "Lisa tore up the stage". And I'm sure that similar things were said for La Poem in Ateez' stage. In a way, it took away from the groups themselves. The wow factor was in the celebrities brought in. Which is not totally fair, because the way Ateez worked it into their song was incredibly creative and created something spectacular. But I think that's what happened. BtoB also brought in another idol, but she was a junior and there as an actress and didn't sing. So didn't take away that spot light. I felt your disappointment! I thought Ateez had an amazing performance. And I guess I've already made clear what I thought of SF9's stage. Guess it's also a matter of taste. If I take Stray Kids out of the equation, because it's hard being objective when it comes to them...they're my first, always, I think my first would have been BtoB, then Ateez, then The Boyz, then Ikon and then SF9. And part of that IS taste and you can't argue about taste. And yes, so so so much work went into this, from all the groups. It must have been so hard not to see that reflected in the ranking. No matter which group you were.

I can definitely see that being what happened. You are right, though, that ATEEZ really worked it directly into the performance instead of leaving the celebrity to do their own thing.
