i have never seen that 120 second conversation between Minhyuk and Han! it was so adorable and funny!! poor guy was trying so hard not to fanboy!

Maha

yesss you should 100% get into btob soon!!

Rawan

They are saying hyung not bro!! but you can't hear it because they talk so fast😂❣️

K-pop Auntie

I did wind up figuring that out eventually, but it just sounds so funny to have it translated as bro, LOL.

The one that han mention to minhyuk, Im hyunsik, he is the member who was serving in the military at that time. Oh, and BTOB gonna release a new album with 6 members in the near time (i think it'll be on monday) so i think it's a great time to react to them. If you want to watch BTOB's guide, i think the one from daemelro are great and it's pretty recent too, it consist of 2 ep, one group guide and one each members guide. Oh, and there's a series titled "Reserved & Quiet Idol : BTOB" from 현아바라기 which will show you how they act among themself

There's really not a single group that didn't work hard or perform well in this show, so i'm not saying this to shit on the other team's ability or them as people. But there was just this kinda magic that happened with Mayfly in my opinion. I'll admit i'm HEAVILY biased since I love SKZ, like Ateez, and this show gave me a massive soft spot for BTOB. But honestly, even if i didn't, i think i would still feel the same. Everyone in the Mayfly performances just gelled so so well together. You could tell how much they liked each other and liked working together. Ateez knew what they were doing when they picked teams, lol!

K-pop Auntie

They really did know what they were doing. I'm sure they knew exactly who they wanted to work with. And yeah, everyone worked hard, and I liked the interaction with the It's One rap group in particular. But there was just something about Mayfly.

Kingdom really made me get into BTOB. It was really hard trying to have unbais reactions to team up preformances. I recommend getting into BTOB if you like thier personalities they come out even more with the rest of thier group and of course the music is great.

K-pop Auntie

They really do seem like a great group of guys. After finishing up Kingdom, I may get into them on a "part time" basis. I feel like I'm getting to know at least the guys that are on the show pretty well.

Yes, Reserved & Quiet Idol series!!!! I know the Daemelro channel is a Melody-based channel so other than informative BTOB guides, their song lyric translation videos are decent and accurate. However if ballad stuff is not your taste, I think it would be a good start to get into the subunit 'BTOB 4U' first, as it consists of Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Changsub and Peniel which you are familiar with through Kingdom, please don't mind if I list some live stages of 4 of them here: "Outsider" (https://youtu.be/1vR7uUFk4mo) "Dreamer"(https://youtu.be/RpnDsdgSpZI) "Show your Love" (https://youtu.be/iYEBiAZxC7U) "Tension" (https://youtu.be/r2P3fuQo_0Q) The full set of BTOB (6 members) had released two variety series recently. Dunno if you are interested in or not but thank you so much for loving BTOB :)

K-pop Auntie

Thank you! I'm marking down all of these suggestions. You're right, ballads aren't really my taste, but these guys have great vocals that I can appreciate. They do it right.

Hahahaha yeah so much food in these episodes and it all looks SO good. It's making me try out Korean recipes. I've never cooked Korean food before, and only had it once or twice, but I'm actually trying to cook something Korean today! Because of seeing all that delicious looking food. Han really was adorable! Fanboying all over Minhyuk. These 120 seconds interviews were lovely. I was hoping for more too! LOL. Oh and he does breathe. Occasionally. You can hear the minute pauses at times between the words, that where, as a singer, you take a minute breath. It's not much, but it's enough to get you through. And that last bit is not more than 8-12 counts I think. For an experienced singer that's not too much. HOwever, with rap you have to spit out a lot of words in those coutns, unlike a singer. THat makes it impressive He has good breath support. That's for sure. I like your analysis of the difference between the two performances. I think you're right, that the first one was more in line with the roots of rap and Mayfly was more a performance, unity, and the wittiness of rap. That wit was missing a bit in the first one. Man...I'm still singing this one (well....with my awful pronunciation of Korean it probably doesn't sound like it, but who cares). I think what made Mayfly so good was precisely their great rapport and synergy. When you have that, it translates onto the stage performance.

One of the cool things about this whole show was seeing how diverse ideas can be executed when given the same prompt. Whether it was coming up with a rap or making a new adaption of another group's song.

Katja van den Berg

That's what I really liked about those challenges too. Even if they'd literally been given the same song to adapt it would have been completely different. So cool.

Lessa

poor Han, he kept digging his own grave during his time with Minhyuk hahahaha
