Jimin wrote all the lyrics though others have credits for it too and though he's never confirmed it himself specifically, Namjoon referred to it as applicable to Jimin's struggles with himself. If you want to watch it in your own time, I'd recommend this vlive from Namjoon about Wings. (he talks about each song - he does this for most albums too, actually. So insightful and interesting) and he specifically talks about Lie and Jimin from 14.11 to 17.11 https://www.vlive.tv/video/15694/BTS-Live--WINGS-Behind-story-by-RM Apparently, the lyrics Jimin submitted were barely changed, they were that good. Jimin's rarely talked about the song specifically, though he has as recently as last year spoken about his struggles with confidence starting as a trainee (and up to about 2015/6) though it's a journey I think you rarely ever leave behind, you just learn how to deal with it better as you grow, you know? On a note related to the music, it's fantastic. And the use of minor vs major chords really pushes it up further into god tier status for me as a song.
