I truly love that they make the effort to make it fun for themselves. You can tell they love what they do but even then if you dont make it fun you can burn out really quickly, especially with the amount of work that these guys do. It could get very soul crushing very quickly if they didnt make it enjoyable for themselves in some way

Agreed. As someone who enjoys what I do, the burnout can still come in. I'm glad SKZ seems to have found a release valve.

Hmm now you've got me thinking about smoked egg. I had never heard of it, but watching this before, I don't think it registered that it was smoked. Maybe I blinked and missed the subtitle LOL. I'd also missed Chan hitting himself in the butt with those straps. That was too funny. Personally I loved that they use whatever's in the room as their set. We do the same thing, but somehow I always thought professionals would rehearse differently. But noop. the couch serves as the platform they jump down from. There were a LOT of people in that room btw. I'm impressed they can actually do their entire choreo that way. But they can. Oh and technically the runthrough in costume they did in their practice room isn't a dress rehearsal. The dress rehearsal is the final rehearsal before the performance, with not just costumes, but lights and sound etc as well. Pretty much the full show, without the audience.
