Plenty of stuff still to come this week before my husband gets home and I start to slow down until after the move.

Wow it's been quite the journey to this move. I can't believe I've been following you from before your husband was even thinking about this job. I thoroughly enjoy hearing your tmi's. And of course I always love seeing all the pets. Ah Onlyoneof...well, you asked for it hahaha. You know I tend to ramble on. To be honest, I'm only a casual listener when it comes to OOO. I like their songs, but don't know that many. I loved the solo MV's. They were like mini films. So when the concert date dropped...I thought "why not?!" And when I saw that VVIP tickets were quite affordable AND meant not having to queue up along with all the other benefits, I thought " Why not?!" . It wasn't until a few weeks later that I found out that ticket was the benefit only, not the admission. NOt how it worked for other concerts I heard of or went to. Anyway, had to buy another ticket, although to be fair, even together it wasn't nowhere near what I would have to pay for this for SKz or Ateez. I got there a bit early, to pick up my lanyard. Then had some spare time so walked along the canal and had a coffee in a lovely coffee shop (filled with fans). Walked back, was still early and ended up chatting with a young woman. I tend to talk to people and we had a lovely chat. Then...I had to LINE UP. What part of no line had I missed??? Line up for the fansign. It was fun though, chatted with a few other ladies, fun stuff, kpop stuff, serious life stuff...anyway..fansign! Which meant walking past their table, they signed the posted they provided (could have had my album signed instead, but nothing else). They made it a point to say something kind, nothing special, but with full eye contact. Then...we had to go outside again. And LINE UP again. This time for the hi-touch and group photo. I was expecting screens, like I'd seen online, but they actually stood in a line and we walked by, high-fiving them. Then they sat down, we lined up behind them (it was in groups of 12 people) and had our picture taken that way. I stood right behind Junji. I was quite....eh....let's say I felt like a teenager haha. Then out AGAIN and LINE UP again. COmplex line up, based on your tier in combination with your benefit ticket. But it meant I was really, really close to the stage when we were allowed back in. One of the girls from the line up stood next to me and we had fun. They started with d'Opamine, of course. Which was superb. Not sure of all the songs, I know I heard Gravity, Soul Drift, Libido (of course). And they did parts of all their solo's, which was absolutely amazing. THeir choreos and dancing skills really blew me away. As did their vocals. Although the quality of the sound equipment in the venue wasn't the best. Or the acoustics may have been the problem. Between that and the screaming I was glad i had my ear loops haha. They help calm all the noise down without taking away the enjoyment of the music. Brilliant. In between the songs they were very engaging with the audience. Junji was clearly playing with us, knowing everyone thinks he's sexy. KB was incredibly funny. There was a translator, thank goodness! Near the end I felt like my world started to spin. Not sure if it was all the standing around doing nothing, lack of water and food, or just the amount of people...but I got out of the crowd to take a moment. I missed the big group photo. But hey....as soon as the tour is over I'll have the small group photo. It was an amazing experience. I'm glad I bought the tickets I had. It gave me an experience in how this feels and can work out. And even though I couldn't sing along to all the songs...neither could most people, which the members enjoyed pointing out to us. Although I feel there may also have been some disappointment maybe. I think, from footage, that in Paris they did sing along. But even if there was disappointment...they turned it into a little joke...and started teaching us. Which didn't work out well hahaha. COncert itself lasted 2 hours and was really fun. I enjoyed the line, actually, because i had a lot of fun talking to fans. I wouldn't have had that if I'd just bought tier 2 tickets and arrived just before the start to stand at the back. Okay...that was a novel. Almost. And I'm not sorry. You asked hahahaha

K-pop Auntie

I can't imagine you being the sort who has a conversation with a random stranger in a coffee shop lol. Too bad the sound equipment wasn't able to optimize the performance. But good to hear about the choreo. I'll have to remember that, since I'm sure I'll check out Onlyoneof again at some point. I did ask, and I did enjoy your novel. Five stars. Would read again.
