It’s only friendly bullying... And I think that is completely valid when it comes to that synth disco sound. I too have specific samples in songs that become the wrong kind of ear worm and make it hard to like a song. Taemin definitely knows how to play with the extension of his frame to create really fascinating shapes and give the performance this otherworldly quality (if not a little eerie). And because he is 2nd Gen it’s also so wonderful to see how many 3rd and 4th Gen idols emulate his style. Now that SHINee are all back and active again it is so funny to see him interacting with the younger groups when he used to be the baby of almost everyone who was performing when they were first debuting. Him being the adult in the room is wild…
