I'm really not a fan of slow songs cause they bore me to death but XH has a way of taking a slow song or a ballad and just elevating it to new heights. For me, this song and Good Enough would not be nearly as good if another group or person was singing them. XH's vocals are so intense, passionate, and powerful that they take ballads and make them interesting. Jooyeon and Jungsu are two of the best vocalists I've heard in kpop. Their voices really reach deep into the soul. I also love the part at the end where everything picks and the instrumental almost drowns out the vocals and I think that's very intentional and so effective.

My interpretation is that they had a lover who said "I'll be with you until the end of time" but the lover ended up leaving them, which is why the member are stuck in that lie. The lie is the lover saying they'll be with the member forever. All this time the member believed that they could be with this lover forever and they'd always be happy, but they didn't see the lie until it was too late.

Agreed. I'm not usually into ballads. They tend to dip to much into the sappy, sentimental realm for me. XH doesn't really do that.
