This song definitely has a more lo-fi/jazz/chill-hop energy to it. I'm a big fan of NMIXX's vocals and Bae has a really nice midrange tone and has a natural jazz quality to how she approaches music. I feel like the two of them work well together vocally and play into the themes of the lyrics really well. The "stage" line I actually didn't even think of a performance stage but a dance floor stage, like those at large party events or clubs where they have the slightly elevated stage for people to dance on while the floor is where people can stand and talk. It gave me that feeling of a movie scene where someone at a party is standing in the corner watching everyone and feeling completely disconnected from it all.
