That's just how strapped for time I'm feeling. Plus, there are still power tools going in the background. Lord willing, this is the final week of it.

For those of you who are sticking around, thank you so much for your patience. My patience is coming to an end with the home remodel, and it's all hitting the phase of 'just get it done'.

We've been pressing hard to move as quickly and yet thoroughly as possible. I've been doing a lot of painting and packing. My main contractor went on vacation right when he least needed to (from my perspective, of course), and so I brought in another, but he's been awesome. Between trying to get things done yesterday and editing jobs, I've packed the house up well enough that I could empty the place into the basement and garage so the realtor could take photos.

All thanks to my dear mother, who has been taking time off from her own job to help me clean the entire house of all the construction mess and then go a step further for a deep clean for those darned photos. The realtor and photographer left just earlier today, and now I am (for the first time in over a month) feeling less stressed about the press of time. The house will be officially on the market with a live internet listing Friday, then open house Sunday. It all came down to the wire, and contractors are still working on the house to wrap up some loose ends, but I can't wait any longer to get the house on the market. I kind of miss living with my husband.

Which, by the way, he's home for another week, so even though I'm feeling slightly relieved from time pressure (well, maybe I'll feel more relieved after the open house), I'm going to be spending my spare time with him since I haven't seen him for nearly two months.

Oh, and we have a pregnant cat in the house who is going to give birth any day now. No, not one of "mine". It's the feral kitten-grown-cat my husband took in while living in Minnesota. Just about when he realized she was going into heat for the first time, a tom started showing up. So kittens are on the way. Then she's getting neutered. Anyone want kittens? I already have too many cats lol.
